Terms of use

Last updated 1 November 2026. Please read these terms before using the Tabito iPhone app.

Who these terms are with

Tabito is published by Mohammed Faris K, an individual developer ("we", "us"). By installing or using Tabito you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to apps downloaded from the App Store, and these terms add to it. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled.

Your licence to use Tabito

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on iPhones you own or control, for your own non-commercial travel planning. We keep all rights in the app, its design and its name. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or try to extract the source code of the app, except where the law allows it.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, Google or an email code. Keep your sign-in and your phone safe, and tell us if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must give accurate sign-in details and be old enough to use the service under the children section of the privacy policy.

Your content

The trips, expenses, bookings, notes, documents and other things you add belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only so that the app can work for you, for example to sync them to your devices. We do not claim any other rights over your content. You are responsible for having the right to add it.

Acceptable use

Please do not use Tabito to break the law, to store content you have no right to store, to attack or overload the service, to try to reach other people's data, or to bypass limits or security. We may suspend access if the app is being misused.

No travel, legal or financial advice

Tabito is a record-keeping and planning tool. Visa, passport validity, health and entry rules, opening times, prices and exchange rates shown or calculated in the app are for convenience only and may be out of date or wrong. Exchange rates come from public services and are not a bank rate. Always check official sources and your bookings before you travel or make financial decisions.

Third-party services

Tabito works with services run by others, including Apple (sign-in, the App Store), Google (sign-in, Firebase, Google Drive) and an email provider that delivers sign-in codes. If you store documents in your own Google Drive, your use of those services is under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Links you open from the app lead to other apps and websites with their own rules.

Optional features

Some features, such as paid trip packs and an AI add-on, are built but not available yet. If they are switched on, any purchase is made through the App Store, payment and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms, and these terms and the privacy policy will be updated first to describe them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Tabito running, but it is provided without any promise that it will always be available, error free or keep every feature. Pre-release and TestFlight versions may change or stop working. We may change or remove features, and we may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms. Back up what matters: you can export your data from Settings at any time.

Ending your use

You can stop using Tabito at any time and delete your account in the app (see Delete your account and data). We may end or restrict your access if you break these terms or if we must by law.

Warranty and liability

Tabito is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost bookings, missed travel or lost profit, or for more than the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India can hear disputes about them. If you are a consumer and the law of the place where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived, including the right to bring a case in your local courts, those rights stay as they are.

Open-source credits

Round country flags in the app come from the open-source Circle Flags set, used under the MIT licence. The app also uses Google's Firebase and Google Sign-In software libraries under their own licences, which are listed in the app under About.
